A Strategic Philosophy for Modern Marketing

Erick Racedo approaches marketing with a philosophy shaped by both history and experience. While marketing has been defined and redefined many times since the Industrial Revolution, ranging from product focus to advertising, PR, design, and positioning, Erick believes that at its core, marketing is a strategic approach to getting a product or service into the masses for purchase.

For Erick, marketing answers two essential questions: “who” and “how.” It begins with identifying demand and understanding what drives it. From there, a brand and product or service can be shaped.

But branding and product development alone are not enough; success comes from making them known and crafting a message that resonates with the right audience. By studying how the market responds to promotion, businesses can measure whether their message is clear, their product meets demand, and their product is perceived as valuable.

The process is iterative, refining brand, product, messaging, advertising, the offer, and sales systems until an optimal balance between sales volume and cost is achieved.

While much of Erick’s expertise lies in SEO, he never limits himself to a single channel. He understands that marketing is a system, and poor decisions in one area, such as branding, advertising, or messaging, can harm another. His role often involves guiding business owners through critical decisions, helping them avoid pitfalls such as weakening their SEO with poorly chosen brand names or undermining one channel in pursuit of another.

Unlike firms that specialize narrowly in one or two aspects of marketing, Erick’s strength lies in his broader perspective. He works to understand all forms of marketing, ensuring that strategies complement rather than conflict. Through SEO, Google Ads, branding, and beyond, Erick has built a career on aligning tactics into a unified strategy that drives meaningful, sustainable growth for his clients.
